"Make a splash in psychedelic colours, tropical prints and blue, blue, BLUE (or more specifically, turquoise!) Get extra style points by going the whole hog and dying your hair turquoise with green dip-dye, and prepare for mankind’s imminent return to the ocean, when we’ll all be living UNDER THA SEA again."

"...like Aphrodite from the foam."  ~NEW YORK TIMES

An Unfinished Lyrical Crusade

I think of all the times I've felt drunk from fumes
of love that promised dreams, were you in costume?
could this really have the potent make up of such truth?
can I really be in that fast, to be out in a flash, back to recoup?

Last Show of the Tour

the walk there. The evil eye of Sauron aka The Green Monster of Fenway

'I am so happy I rolled to this show, solo and it was still a go.

So Rock~N~Roll that it moved my soul

I was almost the only one dancing, but the crowd swayed to and fro.

each pick of the strings moves a vertebrae, when my body is directed like an orchestra...'

yyyeah, I'm either really out of commission or these are also probably lyrics to my new song hahaha

I had video, but I was dancing so hard it came out quite bad.

Nothing a little creative editing won't fix...asap

Jim, fellow dorkus malorkus.

he and pal Andy were proper gents

down to Earth and all that good shit, til we meet again, eh?

thanks for the good conversation and laughs homies!

yessss, this song....

but, as you well know, this is my fav

and it's eerily almost exactly what last night's show looked like.

It was a full moon, lunar eclipse so the night was strange, even I was about to howl at the moon. The couple days surrounding had been really rough on me and I know I wasn't alone.

I sensed the band was tired when they played: last show; can't blame them.

Everyone was probably not psyched on being in shitty Boston on a cold night. Here, here!

For me, a ROCKIN GOOD TIME it was! I got it all out...

I got handed a VIP sticker and even the after party wasn't exactly party party,

but a chill scene in the upstairs lounge behind a velvet rope,

and to be sure a well deserved rest before the flight home.

It was nice to meet Jeff from the band, a peaceful man, and a couple of the crew: names escape me,

but to the sound tech gent who so nicely sorted out the placement of my beverage, thanks for being cool

LOVIN' TOGETHER

Finished this video yesterday

in a dark room with neon paint was filmed an idea that could've been predicted by the Major Arcana in retrospect. It might as well have been signed sealed delivered directly to Special Agent Cooper to set the tone of this night.  For this scenes were shot of myself dancing to a yet to be released track 'I Need You'.

A little bit ago Chris hit us up with the groove called 'Lovin' Together' and that's when we took our supply off the top shelf and brought it into the neon-lime light.

3 seconds of video can take 3 hours of editing, and "Rendering" is now a dirty word in my book, but

I am very grateful to have been able to be half responsible for something like this to be in existence.

We had Mark design the track title lettering, and Omar and I drew the shades, locked the door, powered up Final Cut, and put our fingers to the keyboard.

Maybe it's the twinge of pain when I realize dear memories have the faded ghost like appearance of a load of colors washed in bleach. Some memories are dirty enough to need it....

But it could be the gypsy lifestyle I've grown up with, moving and traveling so much, that makes me feel the need to have this kind of proof to my own mind that something did happen, and, what have we here? I can see it again? Amazing. This kind of...skill? habit? obsession? has coupled with my affinity for dancing. Add my painted lips and here you have it.

Thank you Omar, for teaching me a thing or two about a thing or two,

and Chris for having us do this video. Coat of Arms is amazing, I love hearing it, I love dancing to it...love putting moving pictures to it.

We had so much fun

The digital compilation will be released in three parts beginning in September, with each release date separated by two weeks. A vinyl extraction is in the works as well, featuring Bubba's "4 Control," Pol_On's "Molala (Mercury Remix)" and Maceo Plex's remix of "Think About It" by Martin Dawson and Nicholas Ryan Grant.
