I grew up listening to 60's and 70's music because of my mom,

and this was one in particular that she loves because of our friend Sonny

I heard this out dancing recently and it reminded me of what the lyrics actually mean.

I keep listening very quietly, but Please Stop Talking

What's startling to me 

is an assumption that is made 

that is in turn so convincing to it's creator, 

that they proceed with much conviction and frustration to argue

or even try to prove it's "truth".

Even more frightening is the person who loses patience. 

When approaching someone with a question or an issue

try not projecting your fears, instead only address them.

Although even still, this can offend the person who assumes 

that if there's an issue to address, then all's going to hell!
